It's a decent masala incense. Sandalwood, cedarwood and lambswool with some hints of vanilla and herbs. Can burn hot at times, but is otherwise a gentle and pleasant aroma which lingers and lifts a room.

This is a proper job masala incense, with prickly notes of halmaddi. The stick is quite heavenly with a scent of rich sweet sandalwood doused in a rich cedarwood oil. There are some greasy volatiles, suggesting that this is a masala stick dipped in a perfume solvent, or - at least - that there are solvent oils in the masala mix. The plastic notes arising from these volatiles intrude on the beauty of the woody notes, but not hugely.
On burning, the scent is perhaps a little crude, with those volatiles again coming to the fore, and a general, slightly disagreeable burning smell lingering in the background. Aromatic wood is the main pleasing aroma that comes forth, along with the prickly woolly notes suggestive of halmaddi. There is a herbal quality about this that reminds me of Tibetan incense. That is, it is quite earthy and a bit rough, with a direct aroma of burning herbs and grasses. I tend to struggle a bit with the earthy quality of Tibetan incense. This is not quite as rough as those, but it is heading in that direction.
