Foil wrapped incense. Machine extruded. Highly fragranced. Very similar to Cha Cha Dum Dum's Mystic range. I'll have a rummage and see if I have two of the same scent to try side by side. These Zam Zam sticks are distributed by Zam Zam International, a distributor of Arabian goods. They say "Made in the UK" on the wrapper, but that may just be the packaging, as I'm sure it would be cheaper to have them made in Asia than made here.
I bought mine from Kathy 27, via eBay. She sells them for £1.99 including postage. They are £1.20 direct from Zam Zam, but a complicated postage which starts at £3.00, then climbs as you add more means they always are more expensive than buying from Kathy. But she seems to be low on stock, so Zam Zam have the greater range.
The scent is similar to the Mystic range. A pleasant modern candy sweetness. But it's also a little dry and smoky. I think that on the whole it's a good value, long burning and pleasant enough incense. The candy sweetness gives it a modern twist. Something a little different to burn. I quite like it.
[Added 2024]: These sticks are made by Balarama of Thailand, who are quite possibly also the source for Kuumba incense.
