Ylang ylang is a similar scent to jasmine - an essential oil is derived from the flowers of the cananga tree, and is widely used in the perfume industry as a keynote, such as in Chanel No 5 and Joy. Sadly here it is lost in the base material, so this smells simply of wood notes, mostly sandalwood, and none of it top quality. Shame.
