While having a bit of a sort out, I came upon this eight stick box of Tulasi Moon - something left over from a session of Tulasi reviewing I did back in 2017/2018. Or possibly a free sample I shelfed. Tulasi (Sarathi International) make decent quality everyday perfumed incense, and some rather surprising good masala incense as well (Vidwan is worth checking out), so I have no problems lighting this up for a burn.
The sticks are standard charcoal powder paste, hand rolled onto hand cut bamboo splints, dyed pink, and then soaked in a fragrance created in their own facility in Bangalore. Sarathi International make essential oils as well as agarbathi (incense sticks).
This has a sweet jammy scent on the stick - it is quite perfumed, though in a mild, powdery sense rather than a chemical, volatile sense. It smells like a perfume. A young, feminine perfume - something a teenager might wear (like Teen Spirit!). The burn is gentle and flowery with notes of jasmine and honey underscored by a gentle sandalwood and musk.
Yes, this is a pleasant and satisfactory perfumed incense.
