I ordered a bundle of Golden Nag series from The Holistice Eporium - a New Age shop on the Isle of Wight who also sell online - and while there ordered some Satya Dragon's Blood cones as we're running low on cones. They had run out, so refunded me the cost, and as a gesture of good will gave a free pack of Ancient Wisdom Dragon's Blood cones. I don't really get on with Ancient Wisdom incense - it really is rock bottom budget stuff, but I do like the regular emails that the owner David Hardy sends out. He goes around Southeast Asia checking on suppliers, and reports back on his travels. Fascinating. Worth signing up to his website just to get those emails, though you can also follow his blogs online.
Anyway this is coloured a dusty rose, and is named Dragon's Blood, but - like all the unbranded Ancient Wisdom cones, just smells of burning rubbish. There's a faint awareness of some vague synthetic perfume on the cones, but once lit the cheap perfume just evaporates, and all you get is the smell of the burning core material. Not good.
