I've been impressed with Vijayshree's Golden Nag series, which appears to be what they concentrate on mostly. I prefer sticks to cones (always have), but we find cones to be practical and convenient in the bathroom, so I always like to have a stock of cones ready to use. I bought a bunch of Vijayshree Golden Nag cones from the excellent Ephra Store in a bundle deal of eight packs for €10.95, and intend to review them all over the next few days.
All the cones in the bundle are square shaped pyramids, and each pack comes with a round clay stand. There is a perfumed scent on the cone - waxy, fruity, strawberry ice-cream, slightly chemical, furniture polish, room freshener. Some thing old and vegetal.
The burn is solid, and though initially slow, it does gradually build, producing a decent amount of dusty grey smoke. The scent is a little muddled and all over the place, veering from artificial smoked bacon to gloss paint via sage. I'm parking this review here temporary, and will revisit these cones in a few days to see if it's me or if the cones really are behaving like this.
