Cha Cha Dum Dum is an ethnic gifts company founded in Kensington in 1968 which also distributes incense, including the UK Tree of Life brand, and their own Ganesha and Mystic Incense brands. Cha Cha possibly ceased trading in 2018, though as of Jan 2019, the Tree of Life brand was still in negotiation, and in Feb 2019 Cha Cha posted new shop hours on their Facebook page. However, by 2020 the company had ceased trading. The website is down, Google reports that the business is permanently closed, and there is no response to queries on their Facebook page, so it appears that the struggling Cha Cha Dum Dum did not survive the government restrictions during the Covid pandemic.

Conclusion: A modest UK importer of budget incense, closed as of 2020. Their foil wrapped Mystic Incense was good value and will be missed, though the importing of foil wrapped has been taken over by Zam Zam.

Our family ran the City Limits Boutiques. As children, we grew up surrounded by wonderful Cha Cha Dum Dum stock. Still fondly remembered, all things come to a natural end. Very best wishes and salutations.
