Rooh is Punjabi for the soul. The sticks are machine dipped from a charcoal paste that smears down the undyed stick. There's a strong and pleasant aroma on the sticks, mainly jasmine. The aroma is not very noticeable when lit, and is soapy and artificial, hinting at jasmine. The sticks are cheap, but are not a good buy. The sticks are made by Mahashian Di Hatti Limited, a food and spice company founded in New Delhi in 1919.
