HEM cones do produce a healthy amount of smoke. I like smoke with my incense. This is a pleasant everyday incense. Scent is a little sweet, a little musky, a little herby, circling around a patchouli fragrance, though somewhat deeper and darker. I find it quite likeable, though your mileage may vary, especially if you are prejudiced against HEM. I don't think these cones will change your mind, there's nothing divine here, but the scent is warm, sultry, and pleasant. To be fair, and coming at it with a fresh pack, and not from a long period of having burned HEM (I've been burning a fair bit of Vrindavan incense plus stuff from Asia recently), this is quite attractive. Score bumped up.

Hoorah! This is the last of the batch of HEM cones that I have been working through (very slowly!). I'm not sure how much I learned that I didn't already know, nor am I sure how much I enjoyed doing it, but at least I completed the task. This Cannabis is pleasant enough - it hovers around a musky patchouli area, with moments - as usual with HEM perfumed charcoal cones - of vagueness, emptiness, and the base charcoal material being the prominent aroma. Still, it's an OK everyday scent. Not offensive. Not quite likeable enough to keep in stock, but OK to refresh a room.
