Regardless of the scent claimed on the packet, these Stamford perfumed-charcoal sticks tend to have a similar scent profile. There is generally some soapy notes on the stick, and a sense of generic perfumed floral home fragrance. And that's what I'm smelling now. Possibly there's some sage in there, but I think I'm only getting that because I'm now looking for it. Call this "Tomorrow's Dream", and I don't think I'd be picking up sage at all. My sample stick is called Sage, though it now sold as White Sage.
The scent on the burn is a little crisper than on the stick, with more likelihood that the scent might be identified as sage, though it remains fairly vague. There's a general sense of burning herbs - a touch savoury, but it's fairly blurry. Ho hum.
