Cannabis is an occasional and curious incense fragrance. I assume the scent comes from a synthetic or substitute - certainly that would be the case here with Stamford, a trader brand which tends to concentrate on well made but largely synthetic perfumed-incense.
The scent on the stick is soapy, slightly floral, mildly sweet, clearly room-freshener synthetic, and modestly pleasant. It's not an engaging or interesting scent, but neither is it offensive or chemical.
The scent on the burn is largely the same as the scent on the stick. It's modest, largely inoffensive, and mostly indifferent. There really isn't much in the way of character or definition. There's just this background modestly pleasant scent with touches of warm coal dust or charcoal. It's not impressive, but neither is it exactly ugly. Not sure where the cannabis smell is though.....

God this brings me back!
ReplyDeleteI assume you mean it brings you back to the days of smoking cannabis, rather than to the days of burning Stamford incense!
