Faint scent of honey on the cone. Quite pleasant, but very, very, very faint. It is curiously neutral, and I think I'm only detecting the honey because I have been signalled in that direction.
To be fair, there is a honey-flavoured instant porridge scent on the burn, ably supported by the smell of the barnyard burning down. Or, let's not be silly, more accurately a school pencil getting scorched.

These Knox cones are small in every regard. They so lack ambition and passion. Miserable little dry turds.

This is the other Knox incense I bought at Winchester Christmas Market. Like the myrrh, it is quite faint, and the base material makes itself felt, so there is more aroma of sawdust than of honey. And it burns very quickly. Not impressed.
I burned it in a cute looking, but totally impracticable Chinese jade burner I bought off eBay many years ago. They are still listed there - thousands of them - usually listed as vintage Chinese jade or vintage Chinese silver. They can be bought very cheap, but they can also go up to silly prices because they look so cute. But they are not genuine. They are not old, and they are not incense burners. They are purely ornamental. In order to get them to burn incense you have to make holes in the bottom in order to get an air flow, otherwise the cone just goes out. Also, you need to put the cones on a heat resistant stand (you often get free stands in a cone packet - either a metal one, or ceramic, or clay) before putting it in the burner, otherwise the burner gets VERY HOT! Even with that, it is advisable to put the burner on a heat resistant surface.
