Indian's Sandal Pure Incense Sticks

Second review - scroll down for earlier

Machine made sticks with a synthetic sandalwood scent. Synthetic sandalwoods are very good, and are often blended with genuine sandalwood in order to accent the fragrance. I'm not finding this stick to be particularly good on this visit. Maybe it's faded over the past 2 1/2 years, or perhaps I was in the mood last time, or perhaps I'm a little jaded this time. Or maybe because it's winter, and last time it was summer. Whatever. There's not much here to get a positive grip on. It's not ugly, but it's certainly weak and meaningless.

Bought in a pound store in Daventry, this is a standard machine made perfumed incense stick, and it works well for me. Does the job. Nice sandalwoody scent, sweet and woody - cleansing and mildly sensual. Suitable for everyday use at any time. I've not come upon this company before - Indian Agarbatti Manufacturers in Bangalore, who have been making incense "for years".  Nothing special, but solid enough. Happy enough to buy again.
