A sample pack of Super Musk from Vinason's in Pune. A very neatly rolled stick which has a pleasant perfume inclining to the floral end of the musk spectrum. Attractive, though perhaps a little too soapy and inclined toward an everyday body-mist perfume for my taste. I prefer my musk a bit more animalistic. However, I do like it.
The stick lights and burns cleanly. The scent on the burn is fairly fresh and outdoorsy, with a more natural feel than the scent on the stick. Some woody notes ground the accord more toward the darker tones of musk, which is more my thing. I'd favour a little more depth, richness, and sweetness, plus a little more adventure in the scent selection (this tends to remain in the same woody-musky area throughout the burn), though that's not to say I don't enjoy it. It is a decent accord. Overall a solid incense, and even though it feels a little more everyday than special, I like it. Decent, solid, and enjoyable.
