Patchouli is one of my favourite scents, so I should like this. Patchouli is a bushy herb related to the mint family. The leaves have been used as a fragrance source for hundreds of years in Asian and Indian countries. It became popular in the West during the hippy movement of the 60s and 70s.
These sticks, as with others in the Ace Scents range, are machine made, though with a prepared paste of masala ingredients. The paste has been dyed green. The scent is not well defined and can be slightly dominated by the base sandalwood powder. It's OK, it's not one of the best in the Ace Scents range, but I kind of like it.
