A machine-extruded one stick sample from Flourish Fragrance which turned up in an old box. I was sent a bundle of Flourish samples, but I wasn't really impressed with the company, and so have not explored any further.
The scent on the stick is quite perfumed - a mix of florals and woods, with a light touch of acidity. Quite acceptable, though feels a little artificial. This is simple room-freshener incense. Black smoke on lighting, which I associate with DEP. Scent on the burn is a little soapy and perfumed, not the sort of scent one normally associates with incense. However, the scent is pleasant. I'm not adverse to modern perfume style room-freshener incenses, especially as room freshening is a large part of our incense burning. There's some sweet musk base notes which ground the florals. Yeah, I'm OK with this. I'm liking it more than I did back in 2021.

Sample of a perfumed incense from a relatively new Indian incense company, Flourish Fragrance who formed in 2009 in Ahmedabad, India. It's certainly perfumed - it has a bright, modern, energetic, if somewhat limited flowery fragrance of violets. It is a clean scent, and reminds me a little of fragranced soap. While there is nothing profound about the scent, there's nothing wrong with it either. It's a decent everyday incense, good for waking up and refreshing the house, and clearing away bad smells and bad energies.
