A hex pack of machine-made everyday room-freshener perfumed incense by Siro Fragrances of Bangalore. This is a synthetic oodh, which is fine, as most oodh Indian incense is synthetic because it is cheap and effective, while genuine agarwood is very expensive. Bought from Ephra World for 99 Euros for 20 sticks (now out of stock).
Siro make fairly standard Indian perfumed incense sticks. And how much anyone will like them will depend mostly on the scent. I can't imagine, though, that anyone will like any of the sticks a lot, or hate them a lot. They are pretty much budget everyday stuff, but reasonably well made. I didn't think much of their Crushed Strawberry, but quite liked their Yellow Sandalwood.
I'm not charmed by this Oodh. It's quite soft and weak, and has no lusciousness. But it's not unpleasant. It is warm, gently peppery, with some musky awareness of agarwood. I'd be quite happy to burn this around the house as a casual room freshener on days when I want something warm and musky, but without being heavy or intoxicating.
