Siro Cherry Pie

This is the last of four hex packs of everyday perfumed incense by Siro Fragrances of Bangalore that I got from Ephra World in Germany at a reduced price of 99 Euros each. They have been fairly typical Indian everyday perfumed charcoal - kind of mid level, not great, but not appalling either. I have liked some scents, and not liked others, purely down to have much I would normally respond to those scents.  I'm kind of ambivalent about cherry as an incense scent - I kind of like the idea, though synthetic cherry scents mostly rely on benzaldehyde which, for me, doesn't work well. What you get is an obviously synthetic cherry scent which is familiar from cough sweets, so it's not exactly a dreamy or exciting or interesting scent. Though, each to their own, there maybe some people who really get off on cough sweets.

And this cherry stick? They should have poured in more benzaldehyde - it's not bright enough, it's not cherry enough, and it's not strong enough.  It's a weak, waffley, vaguely cherry accented fragrance which also has some of the charcoal and a warm burning woody material smell. It's not great.
