I got this from Pilgrims Fair Trade as scent "Pushkar Sandal". It arrived in a different packaging to the incense they sell as "Pushkar Temple Incense Natural Hand Rolled Masala Incense" (and which is often referred to as "Pushkar Temple", though is not sold under that name in Pushkar itself). I have written to Pilgrims Fair Trade several times now asking about this particular incense, but they haven't responded. As it was sold as being part of the Pushkar incenses, my assumption is that it was made in Pushkar. Though it is possible (unlikely, but possible), that it was made elsewhere, and was grouped among the Pushkar incense because of the name. Ranga Rao make an incense called Pushkarini. It's not impossible that somebody outside of Pushkar has made one called Pushkar Sandal.
The sticks are 9in with 7 1/2in of paste. A standard size, so that doesn't tell me anything. But they do look and smell similar to other Pushkin incense, so I assume they are made in Pushkar, same as the other Pushkar incense.

There's vanilla in the scent on the stick, along with rotting meat, and creamy sandalwood. Touch of benzoin. There's also a bit of cold, chemical volatility. It's mildly pleasant and mildly interesting.
It's a calm, clean, pleasant scent on the burn. And is probably the best behaved and most commercial of the Pushkar incenses I've tried. It's light, sweet, and feminine, with a delicate blend of vanilla and light sandalwood. A touch of spice, though few off-notes. I like this. It has a cleansing effect on the room, is calming, and lifts the spirit. If I'd started with this one, I might have more of a glass half-full approach to Pushkar incense. Yeah. Nice.
