A moderately attractive coconut scent from this own-brand bargain basement perfumed-charcoal stick sold by UK wholesalers Jaycia. The next day there is a dead smell of cold ash in the house. Acceptable as a basic room freshener, but not something we'd want to buy again even at a bargain price. There are some really decent cheap incenses around without being tempted by nonsense like this.
This now goes into the outhouse with the cats.

Poor Cats.
ReplyDeleteThey have complained: "Why don't you give us the good stuff?", but to be fair it's not ugly incense - we keep that for the toilet, or just throw it away. And today we've been burning Jacia Passion's Spicy Wood, which is more than just acceptable, it's a fairly decent, albeit low key, woody incense. I like woody incense, especially when spicy, so it's sort of my thing. I think the scent is based on Australian sandalwood, which is spicy compared to Indian sandalwood. Though it's either synthetic, or a highly diluted essential oil. Most likely synthetic. But, Chanel No. 5 is synthetic, and I love No. 5, so I'm not anti-synthetic.
