From Temu - small burner plus 40 small auspicious cloud incense tablets for £2.81. This bundle contained both the tube of Small Auspicious Cloud Sandalwood coils, and a cute brass burner. So now I know how the small cloud shaped coils are supposed to be burned. I made a mess of burning the Lavender coils, but I love this brass burner. It is described on Temu as a Baifuxiang Incense Burner - but I can't find any info on what Baifuxiang means.
The company named on the customs sheet as being the manufacturer appears to be called Shenzhon Xuxinda, based in Dongguan, in the South-east of China. But as the incense and the burner were in the same packet, it is difficult to know if Shenzhon make the burner or the incense or both. All the text on the incense tube is in Chinese.
The scent on the cold coils is basic woody sandalwood. The aroma on the burn is the same. It's actually quite clean and pleasant - it's a fragrant wood. Quite simple. Quite modest. But not offensive. There's no depth or richness. But it is recognisable as a fragrant sandalwood.
