Bought from Temu: £1.17 for 10 sticks. Described as Japanese, the address of the manufacturer is given as Changsha in central China. The script on the back looks more Chinese than Japanese (more boxes, less flow), but I could be wrong.
It is highly perfumed on the stick. There is a description of the perfumes involved: Top notes - Neroli oil/Bergamot/Pink pepper/Violet; Middle notes - Jasmine/Tuberose/Orchid/Peach/Orange; Bottom notes - Musk/Sandalwood/Cedar/Vanilla. There is a bergamot quality about it. But mostly it's creamy white soap.

The scent on the burn is variable. It's certainly quite mild and delicate. Some smoke notes intrude on what could be black tea, rubber, and plastic. There is some heat in the fragrance. I've burned five sticks, and walked around the house, trying different rooms, and asked Chrissie, but I'm not getting much beyond smoke. Back at my desk, and now I'm getting some fruit notes, a gentle light sweetness and light in the otherwise rather dull and dreary smoke. But on the whole, this is not an incense I've enjoyed.
