This looks like a perfumed-charcoal stick, but closer inspection shows that there is a powder on the stick - it's so dark blue it could easily be mistaken for charcoal. And the powder comes off on my hands like a cheap charcoal stick. But it is beautifully scented. Quite gorgeous. Yes, there's a crude volatility. This is presented as a "flora" incense, so an abundance of fragrance oils and agarbathi oil has been used. It's rough, saturated, disturbing, and hugely over the top floral - lilac, violets, buddleia, honey, wet leather, etc.
The burn is heady, but not over-powering. It has a rich, dark, floral fragrance, quite musky in a dry powdery manner, so not lush and sexy, but more mannered. Sweet, but not cloying. It's quite an edible aroma with suggestions of vanilla and coconut. Underlying the sweet florals there is a thin, splintering plank of pine wood, with a hint of sandalwood. I love this. Not as much as I did last year, but then it looks like I didn't pay close attention - I just allowed myself to be seduced. It is the sort of incense that can and does seduce me....

lol, that’s the shortest review ever, only 2 words. I ordered this from my recent order from aavyaa and I’m waiting for it to come.
