Om Sai's Trishala Lavander Premium Incense Sticks

Smells like lavender soap. It's fresh, pungent, herby, floral, soapy, and distinctly lavender. The lavender is possibly essential oil, as lavender is so pungent it takes significantly fewer buds to create a strong oil compared to rose, and so is fairly cheap - and I'm looking around, and not seeing reliable information on synthetic lavender. Though it would likely be lavandin, which is a lavender plant, and has a very strong and lasting scent, though doesn't have the same therapeutic benefits of true lavender or "English lavender".  I have noticed that some Indian lavender incense is spelled lavander. I wonder if there is some relation to the use of lavandin in that naming - a subconscious (or even deliberate) merging of the words lavender and lavandin.

I like this Lavander. It is fresh, crisp, and lively, with strong camphor undertones. However, there is some smoke on the burn, and there is a lack of depth or range to the scent - it is somewhat boring. But, on the whole, it is agreeably pleasant and calming.  It is available only in India, where Om Brand sell it at 75 Rupees (approx 75p) for 100g
